How should sponsors prepare?

Before becoming a sponsor, we recommend the following:
- Prepare to be changed. Not only will your surroundings change when you welcome your sponsor child, but you will be changed as well.
- Get in touch with your desires. Discover what will enhance your life, and plan to be changed for the better.
- Tell others about your decision to sponsor. The more you share, the greater a space is created for connection with your future sponsor child.
- Choose an item that will be given to your sponsor child prior to unification. Make sure the item is of personal value to you. Couples should choose an item that has shared personal value.
- Follow specific instructions given by Hanso Adoptions specialists during family completeness sessions.
After making preparation and attending family completeness sessions, you can expect a new and more fulfilling life.
